  • More than an address... A legacy

The hotel address is deeply embedded in the history of Toulouse.

Indeed, The street name “ descente de la Halle-aux-Poissons ” is due to the existence of a great Fish Market built in 1552 then rebuilt many times specifically in 1759 with an important extension in order to get a market of 400 sqm. This Fish Market closed because of the Opening of the Modern Victor Hugo Market in 1892 but the name still remained in memory of this great place of trades. The Hotel was part of wonderful mansion houses in the street called “ Rue des Couteliers ”.

The Boutique Hotel has been recently taken over by two former colleauges of a big Hospitality group. They wanted to integrate this hotel to a new Group called : OCCITANIA HOTELS (including 3 other hotels : Occitania Centre Toulouse Matabiau***, Hotel & Spa Le Moulin de Moissac***, and Hotel Le Rochegude located in Albi)

Its brick facade and its localisation make this hotel as an unforgettable address in the “ Pink city ”.
